〜てはいけません（禁止）
1. What is ～てはいけません
TE-form + はいけません
〜てはいけません
= “You must not do ~”
Used to prohibit actions politely.
2. Basic Pattern
TE-form + はいけません
たべて → たべてはいけません
eat → must not eat
はいって → はいってはいけません
go in → must not go in
つかって → つかってはいけません
use → must not use
3. Examples
ここで たばこを すってはいけません。
You must not smoke here.
はいってはいけません。
You must not go in.
けいたいでんわ を つかってはいけません。
You must not use your phone.
けいたいでんわ ＝ スマホ
けいたいでんわ ＝ けいたい
Nowadays, people often say “keitai” or “sumaho” instead.
